Robes of Salvation and Transformation

UV 2028/10000 Robes of Sanctification and Transformation
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God
Revelation 19 v 13
Jesus is the full and final message of salvation to all mankind. Jesus being full of grace and truth, His Word is also full of grace and truth. The Word clothes us spiritually and fills us with grace and truth. We experience transformation by transference. The Word of God sanctifies us as water washes our bodies. The power to sanctify that the Word of God has is obtained from the perfect sacrifice of Jesus where He was drenched with blood. Our pure white clothes of salvation have been obtained therefore at a great price. We can never take for granted the cost that was paid by Jesus to obtain total salvation, both here and now and in the eternal realm. Jesus washed his disciples’ feet with water but He has offered to wash the totality of our being, spirit, mind and body with His blood. Consciousness of the Commander of the armies of heaven, the Mighty God, Prince of Peace, Everlasting Father, Almighty , whose face shone with radiance, whose voice was the voice of a thundering waterfall, whose feet, whose eyes are like blazing fire, whose feet are like polished metal, wearing garments soaked in His own blood makes us at once grateful and willing to pay the cost of following Him.
The white clothes of salvation that we wear have been obtained by the blood of the Lamb of God. We should therefore hasten the process of aligning our heart and our lives with the Word of God in all aspects of our living. The Word is what washes the clothes of salvation such that we can present ourselves as living sacrifices that are pleasing unto the Lord. When a compass is placed flat on a surface, the magnetic needle corrects itself to point upward to the North and downward to the South. The Word is our compass that enables us to determine what is the true North, the direction in which we should travel as well as what is the false South that pulls us downward and away from the Lord and our true purpose in life.
The robe of blood that Jesus is seen wearing in this revelatory vision of John is a symbol of the new robes that the father gives his repentant but formerly prodigal son. It is a sign of the reconciliation that we now have with the Father. The Word affects our sense of worth. We are now no longer mere mortal men and women but children of God, co-heirs with Jesus, the first fruit of God, the inheritors of the Kingdom of God. The Word influences our work, the way we conduct ourselves. The Word determines our attitudes of worship, the reverence for God that is the beginning of wisdom. The Word releases hope, joy and resurrection power in our lives.
